Amazing Animal Adaptations

Time: 10:30am Ages: 7-8 Capacity: 12 students Length: 45 minutes Discover an animal's basic habitat needs and explore some unique ways that they survive different climates and environments. Create an animal with special adaptations that help it survive in a newly discovered habitat.

Science Detectives

Time: 11:30am Ages: 7-8 Capacity: 12 students Length: 45 minutes Discover how your eyes, ears, skin, and nose work! Use your science knowledge and your senses to help solve a mystery.

Solar System Odyssey

Time: 12:30pm Ages: 7-10 Capacity: 30 Time: 35 minutes Take a futuristic journey through the solar system on a mission to discover a new home to colonize.

Exploring Planets

Time: 1:30pm Ages: 7-10 Capacity: 30 Time: 30 minutes Fly through the solar system to investigate features of planets and dwarf planets. Learn about current space missions including Juno, the current mission at Jupiter.

Radical Reactions

Time: 10:30am Ages: 7-8 Capacity: 15 students Length: 45 minutes Follow the scientific process to explore simple chemical reactions using a colorful cabbage juice indicator. Then apply your new knowledge of acids and bases to launch a rocket.

Time: 11:30am Ages: 7-8 Capacity: 15 students Length: 45 minutes Learn how to make electricity flow, find out why polarity matters, what materials will carry electricity, and the differences between parallel and series circuits.
