Entry Level Openings

Entry level are part time, require weekend availability (and week days if your schedule permits), and the ability to interact in an upbeat and positive manner with Science Center guests. Great job for graduating high school seniors, college students, retirees, or parents looking for a school-compatible schedule. You must be able to pass a math test to be a ticket agent, and able to be on your feet and active to be an IMAX Usher, Lobby Ambassador or Housekeeper. If you love working with the public and are looking for a fun place to work and earn extra spending money, please think about joining us.

Volunteer Opportunities

You don’t have to be a scientist or a physicist! If you love to learn and you care about the way we inspire tomorrow’s scientists today—you should consider becoming a Science Center volunteer!

For those ages 14 – 17, MSC offers youth volunteer positions. Gain new skills and explore potential career paths, while contributing to the Science Center’s mission to provide the best of informal, hands-on STEM education.

All youth volunteers must:

  • Work well with children and teenagers
  • Posses excellent communication skills
  • Have the ability to follow directions
  • Be comfortable interacting with the public
  • Be adaptable to changing situations
  • Work well independently and in a team atmosphere
