Join the Maryland Science Center and Domino Sugar for Midnight Noon Online on Thursday, December 31 from 10am to 2pm with hands-on activities, a livestream performance by Grammy nominated Milkshake, and of course– a countdown to the new year at noon!

10:00aM – Design a sound shaker
Turn a cardboard tube into noisemaker to ring in the New Year.
11:30 aM – live performance by milkshake
Shake it up with a live performance by Grammy-nominated kids rock band, Milkshake!
12:00PM – Live countdown to noon with milkshake
Tune in to Milkshake’s live performance as they countdown to the New Year at noon!
1:00PM – Build a confetti popper
Use simple materials to make a confetti popper that can be use again and again!

- Toilet paper tube (2)
- Balloon
- Scissors
- Masking tape
- Markers, colored pencils, or crayons
- Hole punch
- Colorful paper scraps

- Beads, dry rice, or dry beans
