Almost every day Maryland Science Center educators are out in communities across the city and across the state delivering science learning to pre-schools, elementary schools, homeschool co-ops, and everywhere in between. No other institution reaches more students through its outreach programs than the Maryland Science Center.
During the school day…
From large scale assemblies to hands-on lab classes; our programs educate as well as stimulate interest and enthusiasm for science. We travel to schools, home school co-ops, libraries, and other educational venues throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, reaching over 80,000 participants annually.
…and evenings, too!
Our Family Science Night is a 2-hour evening program built around family fun, community building, and STEM learning.

Reservations can be taken over the phone, Tuesday through Sunday from 10am – 4pm, or you may choose to email us a completed program request form. You will receive confirmation once your reservation has been processed by a member of our team. All reservations must be submitted at least 4 weeks in advance.
