The Maryland Science Center is committed to removing as many obstacles to participation as possible to ensure that all Marylanders have access to our exhibits and programs.
Access Science allows anyone holding a Maryland SNAP or Maryland WIC card to purchase up to four tickets to the Science Center for $5 per person. On the day of your visit, show your Maryland SNAP or Maryland WIC card, along with a valid driver’s license or State ID showing a Maryland address, to receive your tickets and begin your day.
Please note that Access Science is available Tuesday – Sunday from July 1 through Labor Day and Saturdays & Sundays during the school year through the end of June. All tickets must be reserved online at least one day in advance of your visit—same day sales are not available at this time.
Maryland residents who are enrolled in the Maryland SNAP or Maryland WIC program and can show valid SNAP or WIC card, along with a valid Maryland driver’s license or State ID on the day of their visit, may register for the Access Science program.

Yes, on the day of your visit you must show a valid Maryland SNAP or WIC card, and a Maryland driver’s license or State ID with the same name as the SNAP or WIC card. There will be no exceptions to the admission policy.
Through Access Science, you can register for up to four tickets per visit at $5 per ticket. Additional tickets will be charged at our regular admission rates. Children ages 2 and younger receive free admission.
