Get ready to get messy!
We’re packing our most mucky, slimy, sticky, sloppy science we can come up with into a weekend-long celebration! Our annual Mess Fest returns on Saturday and Sunday, August 16 & 17. Grab a brush and dip into your favorite color of paint to leave your messy mark on the Science Center’s window mural. Send the slop skyward with colorful rockets powered by fizz. Dig your hands into some goopy mixtures in the Slime Room. Plus these can’t miss demonstrations:
- Who’s ready to make a mess!? Help us create a 50-bottle mentos and coke eruption in honor of our 50th anniversary.
- Look out below! We’ll be dropping 50 paint filled balloons from the Science Center’s roof!
- Watch out—this foamy paint monster is ready to blow! Heads up for flying paint suds!
All activities are free with paid admission or membership.
