Step into infinity and explore the vastness of space. Navigate your way through a star-field of black holes. Sample a cosmic cocktail—Tang and liquid nitrogen slushies, anyone? Our next Grown Up Field Trip is taking you to Space! Be our test pilot and sample pieces of our new exhibit, Space, presented by Northrop Grumman, kid-free. Plus, we’re packing the night with out-of-this-world themed party games and hands-on science encounters.
what to expect:
- Take one giant leap into our planetarium for a quick trip across the universe
- Create your own commemorative Shrinky Dink mission patch
- Tip past the event horizon for a crash course on black holes
- Explore star myths from around the world and design your own mini-Lite Brite constellations
- Sample pieces of our all new space exhibit

Event Details:
This event is a part of the Maryland Science Center’s Adult Programs and is for ages 21+. A valid ID is required upon arrival. Admission includes participation in all on-floor activities and access to selected exhibits. Drinks will be available for purchase from Pherm Brewing Company. This event is expected to sell out.
All proceeds benefit the educational programs at the Maryland Science Center.
