Explore, learn about our resources, and most importantly, have fun on Friday, October 17 at the Maryland Science Center’s Teacher Appreciation Day.
Connect with our staff and learn more about how the Science Center can support you this school year through our field trip offerings and outreach programs. Drop by the Demonstration Stage to check out our Traveling Science Program, pop into the SciZones to sample a few of our classroom programs, and preview one of our IMAX offerings with a screening of Flight of the Butterflies 3D. Then, meet up and unwind with other educators at a special happy hour, just for teachers like you.

This event is free for Maryland teachers, but advance registration is required. Please be prepared to show a valid teacher ID at check-in. Each registered teacher is provided one complementary guest registration and can purchase additional tickets for $15 each. IMAX screening will take place at 4pm. Happy Hour is from 5-6pm, 21+ only.
