Camp-In is over for this year, but if you would like to be placed on the e-mailing list to receive information about Camp-In for 2015, please contact the Camp-In Programs Supervisor at 410.545.5955 or email any time of the year.   Be sure to indicate whether you’re with Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts (Bears and Webelos), or a School/Youth Group, so we can make sure you get the correct registration form.  Information about 2015 Camp-In will be sent the first week of October.

What is Camp-In?

Camp-In is a program for Girl Scout Juniors, Girl Scout third-grade bridging Brownies, Bears, Webelos, or any organized School or Youth Group in 3rd-5th grade. Camp-In includes IMAX and Planetarium shows, three hands-on science workshops, time to explore many of the museum’s interactive exhibits, and limited time to shop in the store. Camp-In also includes an evening snack, a light breakfast, and a participation patch. Check-In begins at 5:15 PM and the program ends after IMAX in the morning at 9:00 AM.

Camp-In Highlights:

  • Hands-on Science Workshops
  • Planetarium Show and IMAX movie included
  • Special access to the Science Center and Science Store
  • A chance to spend the night in the museum

When is Camp-In Available?

Camp-In events run on Friday and Saturday nights, January-May, with specific nights reserved exclusively for either girl scouts, boy scouts, or school/youth groups. Please see list at right for your group’s registration form and roster. Be sure to check the calendar to see if the date you want is still available.
