Feeding the World in 2050

With an expected world population of 10 billion by the year 2050, agriculturists are working to advance their practices and technologies.  From reducing food waste, to enhancing vertical farming, to using drones to save plants in distress, agricultural technology is changing rapidly around us.  Farmers are making great adjustments to be able to feed larger masses of people.  Through science and technology, we can feed world.

Each lecture will also be available for viewing as a live-streaming event at noon on the day of the lecture, on the Maryland Science Center’s Facebook Page.
