Drugs from the Sea
Join us in the MSC Theater to learn how marine invertebrates and their symbiotic bacteria are a prolific source of bioactive compounds that can be valuable drugs. Russell will be discussing the promising compounds from marine sponges, mollusks, and tunicates and their associated bacteria.
Each lecture will also be available for viewing as a live-streaming event at noon on the day of the lecture, on the Maryland Science Center’s Facebook Page.
