Take a step into the planetarium for live views of the partial solar eclipse—watch the moon slowly cover the sun.
Live from the Sun is designed to be a walk-in/walk-out program. Wander into the planetarium between 12:30 and 2:30pm and watch the moon slowly cover the sun, or drop by our the rooftop observatory to see it firsthand! Learn about the sun, how eclipses work, and see a safe view of the solar eclipse.
In case of poor weather, we will stream videos from other places that the eclipse can be seen around the country. The Observatory will be open from 12:30 – 2:30pm, weather permitting.
