Wake up and smell the science! Come to the Maryland Science Center Saturday Mornings at 10:30 a.m. and join in a Saturday Morning Funshop. These hands-on programs give you a chance to participate in hands-on exploration of everyday science plus visit the Maryland Science Center afterwards.
Saturday Morning Science is just $20 per person ($10 for Members) and includes base museum admission for the day. PLUS, $5 off admission for non-participants to explore the exhibits during the program. Non-participants may "sit in" but will not receive funshop materials.
Saturday Morning Science funshops last approximately one hour and a variety of subjects and activities are covered during the season. Many include a take home component. Age range for Saturday Morning Science activities are 3rd grade and up.
No reservations are required, though suggested. You may register by phone by calling 410-685-2370, or just drop in during museum hours!

Change matters and matter changes! Matter takes on a new identity when temperature, volume, and pressure are manipulated. Transform cream, sugar, and vanilla extract into a tasty chilled treat.
