Wednesday Workshops

Wednesday afternoons are for Homeschoolers after school at the Maryland Science Center when you participate in Wednesday Workshops. From October through May a different workshop is available every Wednesday and we’re making it easy for you to attend. We are currently accepting reservations for Wednesday Workshops through December.
Registration for workshops in January-April will open on Tuesday, December 4. Please view the schedule from the menu on the right.
Registration
Workshops are suited for homeschooled students either ages 6-8 or 9-14. Advanced registration is recommended. You may register by calling 410-545-5945 or you may register online using our online ticket center. Each workshop is $5.50 per student per class. Please note there is a $3 service fee for each online transaction. You may select multiple classes within a transaction. The Homeschool Reservation Office is open Monday – Friday 10am-4pm. All classes are subject to sell-out and there are no refunds or exchanges.
Pricing
Plus, we’ve added special pricing if you want to visit the exhibit halls at the Maryland Science Center as part of your afternoon! Arrive anytime after 1:00 and admission is just $8 per person for the workshop participant and non-participant family members. As always, Maryland Science Center Members can visit the exhibit halls for free any time.
Specifics
- All classes are suited to either ages 6-8 or 9-14.
- Capacity for each class is 15-20 people.
- All Wednesday Workshops begin at 3:00pm and run approximately 45 minutes.
