Wednesday Workshops

Wednesday afternoons are for Homeschoolers after school at the Maryland Science Center when you participate in Wednesday Workshops. From October through April a different workshop is available every Wednesday and we’re making it easy for you to attend.
Registration
Workshops are suited for homeschooled students either ages 6-8 or 9-14. Advanced registration is recommended. You may register by calling 410-545-5945 or you may register online using our online ticket center. Each workshop is $5 per student per class. Please note there is a $3 service fee for each online transaction. You may select multiple classes within a transaction. The Homeschool Reservation Office is open Monday – Friday 10am-4pm. We will start accepting reservations Tuesday, September 13th.
The Potato Chip Challenge is a two-part class, and participants must purchase both sessions when registering as participation in both is required. All classes are subject to sell-out and there are no refunds or exchanges.
Pricing
Plus, we’ve added special pricing if you want to visit the exhibit halls at the Maryland Science Center as part of your afternoon! Arrive anytime after 1:00 and admission is just $8 per person for the workshop participant and non-participant family members. As always, Maryland Science Center Members can visit the exhibit halls for free any time.
Specifics

- All Wednesday Workshops begin at 3:00pm and run approximately 45 minutes.
