Maryland Science Center Offers "Saturday Morning Science"
Science "funshops" let kids experiment and take home projects

Every Saturday through December 16, 2006, the Maryland Science Center will offer Saturday Morning Science, a series of hands-on "funshops" for visitors that include take home projects and admission to the museum.

Saturday Morning Science activities will allow children ages 8 and older to explore topics in science in creative ways, such as using household items to make a pinhole camera, recycling paper, crafting beeswax candles, and building lasers. In addition to the project, all Saturday Morning Science participants receive admission to the Maryland Science Center's exhibitions.

Please click here for a listing of dates and topics.

Admission to the Maryland Science Center's Saturday Morning Science is $20 ($10 for members), and is for children ages 8 years of age and older. Activities begin at 10:30 AM.
