The Maryland Science Center Internship Program allows qualified undergraduate and graduate students to fulfill internships through volunteer work. Interns gain a better understanding of a career area while experiencing the satisfaction of making an important contribution to the Maryland Science Center.
Internships are for credit or non-credit as determined by each school/course instructor. Specific internship projects and positions are offered by the Maryland Science Center; however, internship responsibilities are flexible and may be altered to match the needs of the school/course instructor.

The Maryland Science Center has opportunities for people with all interests—whether directly related to scientific disciplines or simply helping with the day-to-day operations of the building. We’re seeking help greeting school buses and greeting guests at our main entrance–assisting in our retail store or with details in our administrative offices.
If you want to be a part of a dynamic place that is full of fun, learning, and in a great location consider volunteering. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for everyone from students to seniors.
