Volunteer Positions Behind the Scenes at MSC

Archive Assistant

Position involves helping to preserve MSC past by sorting, organizing, and cataloging historical documents, photographs, and more.

Duties:

Scanning, sorting, organizing, cataloging, and copying of documents and photographs. Providing assistance to those who request historical museum information.

Skills:

Excellent computer skills including data entry; ability to work unsupervised; dependability; knowledge of office practices and machines; some clerical experience.

Training:

Provided by specific department.

How do I apply?

Prospective volunteers should print the Volunteer Application and return it to the Volunteer Department by mail or fax: Volunteer Department; 601 Light St; Baltimore, MD 21230; 410-545-5974.

Once your application is received you will be contacted for an informal interview and tour of the Science Center to determine a suitable volunteer position.
