Astronaut, engineer, space astronomer, planetary explorer
Construct a planetary rover. Dock the Space Shuttle. Watch NASA's latest launch countdowns and press conferences. Try on a flight suit. Track the orbits of satellites. SpaceLink is high tech and hands on! SpaceLink is also home to the Hubble Space Telescope National Visitor Center. Keep up with the latest discoveries from this orbiting observatory which is constantly peering into the darkest reaches of space to unlock the clues to the origins of our universe.
Connecting and interpreting the latest in space and aerospace discovery
SpaceLink is equipped with internet-ready computers, media players, satellite television and surround-sound audio systems. Computer and video sources can be displayed on huge screens offering visitors a unique immersive experience. If it’s happening in Space and Aerospace Science—it’s happening in SpaceLink.
Staff who share the quest for knowledge in the fields of space and aerospace
By far the most important resource in SpaceLink is its staff. Our knowledgeable, trained staff is comprised of Space and Aerospace Science educators and community volunteers who serve as exhibit facilitators. More than guides, our staff is present to share their excitement for Space and Aerospace Science, to engage visitors in interesting dialogue, and to ensure a fun, dynamic, educational environment.
