Venture out to our urban rooftop Observatory to view the night sky as our staff help you find planets and constellations. The Observatory is open every Friday night, weather permitting. Stargazing is free and open to the public, admission to the Science Center is not required. Please phone 410.545.2999 before your visit to check on viewing conditions.

Every First Friday of the month from October – March the Maryland Science Center celebrates with discounted admission from 5:00-8:00pm.
The Maryland Science Center is once again participating in Dollar Days on December 6 and 7. Admission is just $1.00 to see our permanent exhibit halls, a planetarium show, demo stage, and the Observatory (weather permitting, Saturday only). IMAX is not included.
