Thing-a-ma-jigs

Cost: Free with paid admission
Who should attend: Recommended for Age 8+
What is it? It’s Thing-a-ma-jigs—a chance to pretend you’re MacGyver and solve the problem with found objects and quick thinking. Thingamajigs are engineering challenges where MSC staffers define the task, provide parts, and let you design the contraption that solves the problem.
Schedule:
Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12; 2:00-4:00pm
Design a contraption that can grab an object and hold on tight.
Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16; 2:00-4:00pm
Construct carriers that will race down a zip line to the drop zone below.
