Urban Gardening Workshop: Seed Bombing

Who: Ages 13+ (Under 16 needs to participate with an adult) Where: The Shed When: May 31, 2014 10:30 am - 12:00 pm How Much? $10 per person. Participants do not need to purchase an additional ticket to the Maryland Science Center.

This spring, the Maryland Science Center is your place to go to learn the basics of gardening and get your plantings ready for the summer.  A series of urban gardening workshops covering a range of topics are available for you to participate in.

Join the Maryland Science Center in The Shed for a Seed Bombing Workshop, led by the Baltimore Free Farm. A seed bomb is a mixture of clay, compost and seeds formed into balls that can be thrown into abandoned lots, forests, or anywhere you think could use a little more greenery. Participants will make and take home their own bag of seed bombs along with the seed bomb recipe. All materials will be provided.

Cost is $10 per person. Advanced registration is required. Please call 410-545-5980 to reserve your space.
