Join the Maryland Science Center for the next installment in our Food Science Workshops—Canning and Pickling. MSC experts will guide you through the basics of canning and teach you two pickling techniques. This hands-on workshop will use kitchen chemistry to explore the science behind food preservation. Participants will have the opportunity to taste test a quick pickle recipe and also take home their canned creation. All materials will be provided.
