When it comes to science, most learning happens outside the classroom. Whether it’s a trip to the museum or a Big Bang Theory marathon, new studies show people get their science education through entertainment.

Join NPR science correspondent Ira Flatow, host of Science Friday, live, in the Maryland Science Center’s IMAX Theater as he shows that the popularity of science in pop culture proves people, despite what many think, LOVE science.

This multimedia presentation is on Tuesday, February 25th at 7:30 pm.  The night is presented by WYPR 88.1FM.  Science Friday can be heard on WYPR every Friday at 2:00pm.  Tickets for this event are on sale now, Maryland Science Center members can purchase at a discounted rate.
