Get hands-on with electronics! This summer, join us for a series of workshops that will introduce you to DIY electronics. Each class is hands-on and will include instructions, equipment use, and a fun project to take home.

Join the Maryland Science Center in The Shed for an Introduction to Soldering WorkshopSoldering is the process of melting a metal into other metal components in order to bind them.  Learn this basic skill that can be applied to a wide range of projects like jewelry making and electronic assembly and repairs.  This workshop will provide instructions for using a soldering iron and components for you to solder will be available.  Participants will leave the workshop with their own practice circuit board.
