Planetarium Console Operator
Duties
Operate Planetarium theater, operate and monitor projection and computer equipment and control console, interact with the public, crowd control, present live astronomy programs, support theater equipment maintenance, light housekeeping, work weekends, holidays and evenings as necessary.
Requirements
- High School Graduate
- College Degree Preferred (Science or Education field of study)
Special Skills
Public speaking, interest in science and astronomy, work well with others, keen eye for detail, comfortable learning digital planetarium software and technology, flexible schedule
