Part Time Instructor
Instructor wanted to deliver school programs to visiting school groups. Position includes preparing the room with supplies, equipment, and visual aids, greeting groups, teaching programs, and breaking down the room set-up and supplies. Additional duties include assisting in the design of new programs by researching, prototyping, and acquiring materials. Must be comfortable with science principles, program presentation, classroom management, and education pedagogy. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and educational applications of technology.
Position is Tuesday-Friday 9:30am-1:30pm. Will consider candidates who are only available for some of the four days. Please indicate days of availability
Qualifications
College degree in science, education, or museum education preferred. Will consider currently enrolled student with significant teaching experience. Must have experience working with groups of children in a formal setting.
