Assistant Producer & Education Coordinator
Duties
The DAVIS PLANETARIUM is searching for that special someone to be involved in all phases of planetarium program production, presentation, evaluation and distribution. The Assistant Producer will manage and operate customized photo studio, image and artwork archive; produce visuals for slide and special effect projection; participate in Planetarium program development; oversee education packet content and distribution; present school and public programs in the Planetarium and at Science on a Sphere and other duties relating to production.
Requirements
- College degree is required with an emphasis in astronomy or science education desired

Planetarium experience is preferred with knowledge of the night sky required.
- Must be computer literate, be a multi-tasker, have excellent organizational and communication /presentation skills, be familiar with A/V equipment, and have the ability to work independently and with others.
