Transformers Explodes into IMAX
Summer’s Biggest Movie Takes Over Baltimore’s Biggest Screen

The hulking metal goliaths of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will blast, crash, and smash their way onto the five-story screen at the Maryland Science Center’s St. John Properties IMAX Theater beginning Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Transformers at the Maryland Science Center will be the only true IMAX experience in Baltimore. This explosive sequel, opening days before its release in traditional theaters, features extra scenes exclusive to the IMAX format.

Audiences at the Maryland Science Center will be thrust into the middle of an epic battle to save humankind as the evil Deceptacons return to Earth to take Sam Witwicky prisoner, after the young hero discovers the truth about the ancient origins of the Transformers. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen stars Shia LaBeouf (Sam Witwicky) and Megan Fox (Mikaela Banes).

IMAX brings a new dimension to the thrilling adventure of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Transformers will tower over the audience on the five-story screen, while battle scenes and explosions boom through the theater’s powerful 38-speaker digital surround sound system. With crystal clear images and laser-aligned digital sound, the IMAX experience at the Maryland Science Center provides Transformers fans with an extraordinarily immersive movie experience.
