Spontaneous Delights Will Make Maryland Science Center
Visitors Happy This Summer

The Maryland Science Center is helping people in Baltimore find their “happy place” this summer as part of Visit Baltimore’s “Find Your Happy Place in Baltimore” campaign beginning Memorial Day weekend

The Maryland Science Center will offer “Spontaneous Delights” throughout the summer by selecting random visitors for such free treats as admission, free admission to IMAX theater films, complimentary popcorn, a gift from the Science Store, or a treat from Beakers Cafe.

The city-wide campaign, which features discounts and promotions at dozens of popular attractions, will run through October 2010.

The Maryland Science Center is also one of the sites for the “BMore Happy Sweet-stakes,” where a Happy Detector reveals an encrypted code on posters at participating attractions. By entering the code at www.BmoreHappy.com, “Sweet-stakes” participants are registered to win prizes, including a cruise from Baltimore on Royal Caribbean, and a trip to Sarasota, Florida for the Baltimore Orioles 2011 spring training.
