Earth Day Celebration
Families will celebrate Earth Day with an afternoon of fun activities and programs including:
- recycling sorting races
- making “litterbugs” from recycled materials
- a solar-powered water fountain
The Earth Day Celebration also marks the introduction of C3 and CARSON, two programs that will team Maryland residents with NASA and the National Science Foundation to gather local weather data and contribute to research on climate change and the environment.
The Maryland Science Center is located at 601 Light Street at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.
