Andrea Weiss Joins Maryland Science Center
The Maryland Science Center has appointed Andrea Weiss as Director of Foundation and Government Relations, announced Van Reiner, president and CEO. Weiss will manage relationships with foundation and government supporters, focusing on creating partnerships with organizations committed to math and science education and employment development.
Ms. Weiss was most recently Principal at Elegancy at Work, where she focused on freelance writing for non-profit organizations. She previously held positions in the fundraising departments of the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health and the National Kidney Foundation of Maryland
Ms. Weiss is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Madison, and received a Master’s degree in Science and Speech from Marquette University.
